Why can't I get back on to Facebook when I press the Facebook icon.

Press and hold

Try holding your finger down on the icon, and pressing the X, and deleting the app. Then re-install the app from the App Store and see if the issue persists

If you find the Facebook icon, tap and hold down on the icon until it starts to jiggle around. Then tap the little 'x' on the top left corner of the Facebook icon. A message should appear asking you if you want to delete Facebook. Press delete.

If you're using a desktop Icon then,

Try to go to Facebook using URL, type www.facebook.com

You can then make a new desktop Icon.

You can go to www.facebook.com and sign in there to get your messages.
If you know about that and say "I want an Icon", then you can do that while in Facebook.

Click and hold on the URL Icon of facebook. then drag it to your desktop. Now you'll have the Icon. ...I hope.

Verify your facebook app is up to date. Verify that your samsung tablet software is up to date. If they are not. Update your software.

It sounds like your icon could be pointing to the wrong page. Windows? right click the icon>properties>and check the target address

I don't know what is wrong, but try to reset your iPad. The easiest is to switch off with the button on top. Press it for a few seconds till it says swipe to switch off.
when the screen is black, switch it on with the same switch.
If the problem comes back, you could go somewhat drastic.
goto settings, then general and reset. but each one of the resets, can cause loss of recent data or settings you had. So it could be you have to reenter some settings again.

If you are using Facebook application, you can log-out as following:
1. Open Facebook Application. It will be showing your wall. 2. Press back button once. It will show screen with options like home, events, friends etc. 3. Press Menu button. You will see option to log-out.
If you want to remove Facebook account from your phone,
1. Go to settings, Accounts & Sync. 2. Select Facebook account and press remove account. 3. It will remove Facebook sync etc from phone.
