Hey.. I have same problem with my omnia!!! how can i update software?

Once done this should solve your problem. Anyways omnia lite has a peculiar problem with the corner parts. Incase if thats what you are referring than nothing can be done. For everything else you may do the screen alignment from settings--general settings - align screen.

Try to update the firmware ..

Follow the instructions from the downloaded guide on how to update the firmware. To enter download mode: Press and hold: VOL UP + CAMERA + POWER (Let go of POWER button when device turns on while keeping other 2 buttons pressed) When you see the 'Samsung Omnia 7' startup screen, count 5 seconds then let go of VOL UP + CAMERA.

I am afraid that you cannot recover your telephone records, unless you've made a backup before update your omnia.

Next time you decide to upgrade your handset, backup all data first. You can use software such as Jeyo Mobile Companion, which can backup you contact, sms, and telephone log data.

I had/have this problem as well, last time the service center installed an update software build on my phone, then it was ok (6 months ago). But now the same **** happen again. WiFi still works but GPRS don't (live in Thailand, no 3G here). Looking now for an OS update again.

I had the same problem andthe only way i managed to get it sorted was to do a software upgrade on the phone... since then the camera has worked fine.

Do you have any update with your omnia yet ?

Considering charging battery for a while would be a option but in case did not work out ?

There is no way to connect i900 omnia with pcstudio. Pcstudio works with classic phones but Omnia is a Windows Mobile Phone, so you have to use Active Sync. Bye
