What is an alternative to sae-30 non-detergent oil.

A two stoke oil is a non detergent oil and is mixed with the gas for two stroke engines. If you are looking for an oil to add to the crankcase of a four stroke engine, you are better off with a detergent oil, the detergent and additives are make to keep your engine clean by attracting the particles in the engine crankcase.

What kind of oil do I use in the Coleman powermate 6875?

You can use numerous engine oils. 10W - 40, 30W Detergent, 30W Non detergent (SAE)
The best all around above 40 deg F and below 100 F oil to use is a 30W detergent oil. Brand name does NOT matter. Oil level should be checked EACH time you add fuel. Change oil any time the oil appears Dark BLACK when checked regardless of the hour intervals. .

Thanks for choosing FixYa,

What type oil does the dewault emglo require

Any motor oil is fine, like straight 30 weight, non-detergent, make sure it is non-detergent, or you will have soap suds in your little pump. They make compressor oil, but it is hard to find and all it is is non-detergent oil. Check it out.

Just wondering if my ariens st350 snow machine uses detergent or non-detergent oil? Thanks

Hello. Actually, Many snow thrower manufacturers now recommend using synthetic motor oil particularly for subzero temperatures. Synthetic oil, such as Mobil 1 doesn’t contain any of the waxes that cause conventional oils to congeal in cold temperatures. As a result, synthetic oil makes starting easier and also prevent parts from running dry when a cold engine first starts. Synthetic oil also has higher film strength and stands up to high temperatures better than conventional oils. You’ll pay more for a quart for a full synthetic and you still have to change it as often as conventional oils, but you are giving your snow thrower engine the best chance for a long trouble free life.

Grade of oil

Hi,
You should, of course, read the manual and use whatever the Kawasaki company recommends. That said, most small air cooled engines will do very well using SAE 30 detergent motor oil. Look for 5W30 at the auto parts store.

this is a 6 volt system so you will need a 6 volt battery. also i would recommend a good motorcyle oil over auto oil mobil 1 v twin or lucas brand oil 20w 50 or 5 w 50 full synthetic. synthetic is better than conventional oils it will last longer and resist high rev breakdowns. good luck ride hard live free!

Makita MAC 5200 3 HP 5.2 Gallon electric compressor

Use non detergent air compressor oil. It can be found at Lowes, Homedepot, and even Walmart. It is sold in small containers for about $2-3 dollars. A synthetic blend air compressor oil is needed when the unit is used in severe conditions. Synthetic air compressor oil sold at Lowes $6.95 and other stores will take more heat. Second choice is 30w non-detergent motor oil. Engine oils tend to produce carbon on the reed valves in the head if used extensively. I have been using the Lowes Kobalt brand of air compressor oil for some years in my Makita and Rol Air compressors with good results. The part number for Makita brand of oil is 18112-A quart size. It is only available by special order where I live. Good Luck!
