SOURCE: Cuisinart DCC-2000 12-Cup Coffee Maker shuts off after brewing

Turn the function knob to Auto Off
Hold down the hour button til you see the clock display blinking
you can then use the Hour and Minute buttons to program how long you want the coffee maker to stay on.
You can choose from 0 minutes (seems to be what you have it set on now) to 4 hours.

SOURCE: Cuisinart DCC 1150: coffee is not hot enough

Using the 1-4 cup setting will help, but that model does not have an actual heating element in the plate - definitely not the right model for someone who likes very hot coffee.

SOURCE: cuisinart Coffee on Demand?12-Cup Programmable Coffee

Hello crystalmeikl,
This is a really common problem with the cuisinarts. I am most familiar with the DCC-1200, but you may be able to solve the problem. The may be an indication that something is plugged up. Open the top of the unit and in one of the corners you should find a water filter stick or column that is removable. Pull it out and open it up to clean out the clogged up carbon filter in there. (You can later buy a new filter on Amazon.) Clean out the debris from the bottom of the cavity. Replace the stick into the cavity once cleaned. Now it's time to run through a solution of 2 parts water and 1 part vinegar. Do this once or twice with fresh solutions, then with a pot of fresh water. When the filter stick is plugged up the sensor says its time to clean it or shuts the unit down, but most people don't know about this fix. I hope this is helpful to you, crystalm. Positive feedback is appreciated. Good luck. NormanZ

Cuisinart brewer gauge stuck on full. Coffee on demand DCC-3000.

After repeated attempts to fix our Cuisinart coffeemaker gauge, I noticed a metal mechanism in a grooved area at the inside front of the coffeemaker. I was able to push it up and down, which caused the level indicator needle to go back and forth between empty and full. Determined that the hook at the front of the coffee reservoir matched up with this mechanism. There wasn't enough tension in the hook to depress the metal mechanism. Ordered part #DCC-3000CR for my coffemaker model through Cuisinart.com. Just installed the new coffee reservoir and the gauge now works!

Cuisinart DCC-3000 Coffee on Demand reservoir leaks after 1 month of use

I've gone through 2 DCC 3000. The first one was replaced for free within the warranty period. The second machine also now drips from time to time from the dispensing spout.
I believe the problem is a coffee ground gets stuck in the dispenser and the reservoir will leak until it's empty. My solution isn't a good one but it works. After pouring each and every cup stop and watch to see if it's still dripping. If not you can walk away. If it IS dripping keep tapping the dispenser until the ground is dislodged and the leak stops.
Inconvenient but it works.
The real solution is to return it and but another brand. Cuisenart will not refund your money. They will only replace it and only replace it with the same model.
Of course you'll still have the same issue with the replacement.

Cuisinart dcc 3000..set to self clean and nothing is happening? Both the cleaning light and power light are on. How long does the cleaning process take or is there something wrong with the coffee maker.

Press the "CLEAN" button and it will light up red. Then press the "ON/OFF" button which will light up blue. Be patient, nothing happens right away, but the cycle has begun. In a few minutes the water reservoir will begin to empty. This self-clean/decalcification process takes approximately 30 minutes. Then pour the water/white vinegar solution out of the coffee reservoir, rinse the water and coffee reservoirs and run one cycle of fresh cold water through before using to brew coffee.

Coffee pot won't turn on

The parts to repair a problem of this magnitude are generally not available. The DCC-2000 has a thre-year warranty. I would call Cuisinart and see if you can get an in-warranty replacement. I have a high opinion of cuisinart and their products, but this particular coffeemaker, I do not personally reccomend.

How to use Cuisinart DCC-1200 Coffee Maker to make a pot of coffee

Just bought a DCC-1200 from Goodwill for 4.95. Looks brand new. Would heat up and sputter but nothing comming through to the pot. Removed botton with T-10 torx driver. Remove hose with check valve in it. TYou can squeeze the hose about an inch down and feel it to determine which hose its in. Pushed the valve out with a screw driver over a towl so if the little ball fell out I wouldnt loose it. There was a small wad of yelllow paper clogging the valve. Removed it. Reassembled and it works great.
