When you say filled with ice/ water, is it just an evaporative cooler? in which case it is really only a fan. If it is a proper a/c unit, try emptying the bin you have filled up and try again. Most a/c units have a water bin that fills and switches off the unit by a float switch until you empty it and it runs again. Let me know how you get on!

Have you checked the water container in the unit? It has a float switch that when it is full it will not allow the unit to run so that it will avoid spilling water on to the floor. Hope this helps 2rns4u <*{{{>(

Sounds like you have a hole in the tubing somewhere within the unit. You will need to remove it and take it outdoors and start it up to trace where the water is coming from.

Sometimes there is a separate switch to turn on the water pump. No water=no cooling. Check to make sure the cooling pads are wet! If they are completely wet and the fan is blowing it should cool.

Hi, I would start with the store where you bought it. Sounds like you got an incomplete unit. If not, they may be able to get a manual out of another unit. Don't see any manuals on line but 1-800-330-0388 is their phone number for customer service. Explain to them the situation and ask for technical services. They should be able to send you a manual and answer any questions you have on the unit. Write them all down before you call them. Hope I have helped. kstfas
