It is federal law that each new piece of A/C equipment have the yellow SEER rating.
The higher the SEER, the less electricity the system uses to operate.
You need to follow up since it appears your contractor installed a less efficient/expensive system than what you paid for.
Good luck.
it is a 3 ton condensor you still can buy r22 freon condensors new but they have nitrogen charge and its expensive to charge I recommend to go with 3 ton goodman condensor which is new 410a puron and also change indoor coil and flush the line set so you dont endure the high cost of new copper lines these new systems come with 10 years warranty and the r22 systems come with only five years
Hi, Your compressor is pulling high amps... it is locked up and cannot turn...it will need to be replaced... You can check the capacitor to make sure that it is not the problem, but usually it will be the compressor...
If air volume inside is dropping could be icing up or jsut a bad fan motor. Check to see if your indoor coil is clean. You have a goodman unit and they have a time delay relay for fan control. They go out quite often. If problem continues call aservice tech for free estimate. There is only so far you can go without knowledge of he system. russ
