Hunter fans switches can be purchased at your local hardware store or directly online. The replacement of these switches are simple, as all you have to do, is remove the light kit (usually 3 screws on the sides) and you will see both light switch and the fans as well. disconnect the wires one by one and place each wire on the new switch. Re-install the light kit and you are done.
I can't find that fan anywhere in my old catalogs. If you have a center plug in the switchcup, you can put almost any light kit on it. If you have two screws on bottom switchcup, you need a hunter light kit.

The problem is not your remote on the fan. It is the light kit. We have the same problem and our electrician diagnosed it as the light kit. This problem started just out of warranty, of course, and we are now purchasing a new light kit to fix the problem.
have the model number of the fan handy and explain to them your problem. in most cases they will be able to get you a replacement part or kit for what you are missing
Bill, Hunter makes many different light kits that will fit just about all of their fans. You can find them at home centers like Lowe's and Home Depot. Also, I believe that Harbor Breeze Light Kits are interchangeable with the Hunter Light kits. You'll find those there, too.
There is usually a blank cover that comes with tyhe fan when new, but when installing a light kit they usually get trashed ,, Try any bnuilding supply store that stocks the Hunter fans ,, bring the part for the light fixture so you can get the exact size and mounting screw araingement as the old kit .
