My son locked himself out of his tablet and we can't get it back on. the internet was off and he tried too many tries and it locked him out. customer service is no help at all

Try to hard reset it. This will take it back to just out of the box state
press and hold volume - button While pressing the power button.
If this does not work contact the retailer.

Do a hard reset, press and hold the +vol button, then the power button, wait about 20 seconds both buttons held till the start android screen appears. Hope that helps

It's a proscan plt8816k touch screen. and it doesn't have a volume button.
