Phone freeze only means that you might have entered the wrong code incorrectly more than 3 times, it is the reason why the phone is not responding anymore. You need to have the phone reflashed.

If this happens when the lamps are actually working, is it likely caused by the LKM module if they are anything like those in the earlier cars. My 1989 735i had this issue for tail lamps and brake lamps, and reading forums revealed this problem can be cured two ways: either disassemble the LKM box and re-solder all the connections to the circuit board (not fun) or replace unit with one from a 1994 or newer model. Sounds as if even the newer models still have the same issue. Replacement LKM's are very pricey, even from salvage yards.
Did u try to unlock the phone & use another provider's sim card?
If that's the case, u have incorrectly entered the command string several times & it locked out the phone. A software reflash/reprogram is needed. Contact Samsung for more info. Samsung USA will not support that phone though..
i think may be there is some virus or worn in the memory so it is freezing out ... no other way you must take the cell to flashing that s all .... insert other sim & try ...& tell whether the phone freezes or not ... i think it will not ... just have a check .... did you removed the sim & then dailed the code or what? remove the sim & then try to dail that reset code again ... other insert some dummy sim whose sim validity is failed & then reset it then i think the phone will stop freezing out ...
i think the phone is freezing only with this sim as the phone will be searching for the locked network .... so only i told to try with other sim
