I know from reading the user manual that it is meant to play WMA
files but you may have to use the coby media manager to convert the files to mp3 or possibly to wma ( that the player can read )

MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format.
You need to convert your CDs to mp3 music files onto yourcomputer or download them from the Internet and then copy them to your MP3player. You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player willcreate a MP3 music file for each music track. You have to load mp3 files into the player memory using the connection cable ..and the driver if it has one ...The transfer is made by copying files from the computer into the player folder present into the My computer folder after the installation and the cable being connected.. You wil find the player by its name or ...like a drive named removable storage device..(in my computer folder..) after you have files on it...all you have to do is to connect the headset..and open it ...and press the play button...It also has arrows that allow you to browse the content and choose the file you want to play ..
MP3 players can only play music that are in mp3 file format. If you copy music files to your MP3 player that are not in this format then the MP3 player cannot play these music files. The files can be read only from the ROOT and their Subfolders. Subfolder of the Subfolders cannot be read in most mp3 players. Example, Let's F: as your root.
F:\My.mp3 can be played.
F:\Subfolder1\My.mp3 can be played too.
F:\Subfolder1\Subfolder2\My.mp3 cannot be played.
Hi,
First of all check, what type of files u want to play in real player.
Realplayer plays .3gp files (not .avi).
If u want to play .avi files, plz. install DVDPlayer or SmartMovie software. & if u want to play MP3 files Use Ultra MP3 Player or MP3player
It is likely that the files loaded are not true MP3, therefore the PC -which can cope with WAV and other formats will play them but the player that read only MP3 cannot.
Are you sure the files loaded are truly MP3?
