Netflix login movies freeze on laptop.laptop shuts down when whatching movie

Check graphic card software on laptop to make sure it's on the right settings to output image to TV.

This sounds like a problem with the power supply. Usually capacitors on the power supply board tend to dome, bulge,or dry up. The damaged ones can be seen on the power supply circuit board when the back is removed. The dry ones have to be removed and tested. The caps can be replaced at a repair shop for around $200, but if the power supply board has to be replaced it can cost a little more. It all depends on the shops repair fees.

The specs for this tv does not show it is netflix ready. You may try a Blue Ray player that is Netflix ready and use it for downloads.
