Try FORMATTING your player first from within Windows to see if that helps resolve the problem. Could be a problem with either a bad sector in your player's memory block or a possible memory hack that is causing the message.

I am having Transcend T.sonic 820 / 4GB MP4 player. I have formatted that suspecting it is having virus in it. After that I stored few MP3 songs into it and when I press the player in the music mode it is...

The mistake you have made here is that you formatted it.you should never format a player in computer. Now you will have to update the player.go to the transcend website and update the player version....or reinstall it...that will ought to solve the problem.

Whenever i try to play a song on my phillips gogear vibe mp3 player it sais "file format not supported' and they are mp3 files. What gives?

"File format not supported" means that the song that you've downloaded into your MP3 player is NOT an .MP3 file format. For each MP3 player have their own supported file formats. You need to check the manual of your MP3 player to see what are the supported sound file formats (i.e. .mp3, .wma, .mp4). Then check the file format of the songs that are saved in your player.

If the songs are supported but you're still getting the error message, try to delete all the songs and then download the songs again and save it into your player. If the same problem occur, then it may need a firmware upgrade or reformat.

Thank you and good luck!

My ipod is showing file system error

Hi

File system error can appear due to unplugging the MP3 player without disconnecting it. It may have happened due to formatting it with a different file format or due to memory issue with the player. Please reformat your MP3/MP4 player. Connect it to the computer, go to My computer-> right click on the mp3/mp4 player after it is displayed-> select format-> Format it as FAT32 File system. Formatting the MP3/MP4 player will delete all the songs/data from the player. So, backup all data before formatting it. Hope this helps...

FILE TRANSFER

Well just off the cuff, its not that its MP4 as much as the fact that Itunes copyright locks its songs....I believe it's .m4a isn't it. There is absolutely a way to strip that off, but I'm afraid I can't tell you that part(hint google)...once in mp4 it can be played if your player supports it or you can batch rip mp4 to mp3 if that's all your player supports. Good Luck

Digital mp3 player

the file you are trying to copy might not be an mp3 file. mp4 files, and i-tunes files will not open on an mp3 player, they only show up as data. quite simply, you need an audio converter.
