The switch bolts are bolt torque off, that means when you tighten the bolt, the head snaps off, at a preset torque setting leaving the round dome carriage bolt like fitting head.
You grind a slot, or chisel the bolt head off.
Remove the switch, then there are three pins that need to be punched out, of the switch to allow the cylinder to be removed.

MY KEY DON'T TURN THE IGNITION, IS LOCK

The solution may be just to grab the steering wheel and turn to left or right, some slight resistance may be felt as you turn, and at the same time try to turn the key in the ignition.

Him!..My name is san, and i have 2003 honda pilot and i been having problem with the ignition, first the key wont go in the ignition for like two days and then finally i get the in ignition and now key wont...

Your steering wheel key cylinder is bad. You will need to replace it, but when you replace the key cylinder the Honda Dealer might need to reprogram all your keys to the car again or the car will not start.

Can I tighten the ignition switch in a Honda 2004 pilot? I can't turn the key unless I push the switch forward in the column. It appears to be lose and it I adjust the switch it starts

on a honda you have to push the key/lock inwards to turn/start the car( stops you turning the key when already running)and when you pull the key out it engages the steering lock..so without me actually turning the key i do not see you have a problem...

My 2003 honda pilot is difficult to shift into drive

There could be a number of issues with a Honda Pilot not shifting into drive. In fact, I had this problem with my 2003 Honda Pilot two weeks ago and had to replace my transmission. More than 100,000 2003 Honda Pilots were recalled in 2004 because of a transmission problem -- was your Honda part of that recall? If so, Honda may help you with some of the costs.

If the problem is not with the transmission, I suggest making sure that your steering column is not locked. You will also notice that on the top of the steering column is a small plate. If you remove the plate and press down with a coin, you can unlock the steering column, enabling you to shift into drive.

Hopefully these solutions will help...but be sure to see your auto service shop for more details on your situation.

Unable to turn key in ignition to start 2003 Honda Pilot .

Your ignition lock cylinder probably fell apart. They get worn out and the tumblers inside fall out and leave the cylinder inoperable. Get your lock cylinder replaced and you'll be good as new.

Resetting a Key fob on 2007 Honda Pilot

to program a key fob- get in vehicle and close all doors. insert key into ignition, have all the key fobs you want to program for this vehicle in hand, programing erases all old fobs. turn the ignition switch to on(all dash lights light up, on click before starting the car). then hit the lock button on one of the fobs. turn the ignition to lock. turn the ignition back to run and press the lock button again from the same remote. repeat untill all the locks cycle. ones the locks cycle keep the ignition in run and press the lock button on each key fob(the ocks will cycle each time a button is pressed). then turn the ignition to lock after all fobs have been programed

My key won't turn the ignition. Can not start my 2003 Honda Pilo

Make sure it's fully in park. Try wiggling the steering wheel as you turn the key.

Key won't turn on 2003 Hoda Pilot

Sometimes the steering wheel will put pressure on the switch from the steering lock. Try this:
- insert the key that usually works
- with your foot on the brake, make sure the shifter is fully in park
- while turning the key, move the steering wheel left or right firmly
