guest, FP2226AFW may have internal "switch-mode-power-supply" problem. Swollen electrolytic filter capacitors or "thermally fractured" component leads to printed circuit board solder joints that will need to be "reflowed" to restore unit to normal operation. Prove that problem is monitor by swapping-in a known-good monitor to your pc first!!! If pc is ok, then 2226AFW unit will need "tear-down" and Inspection" of it's "switch-mode-power-supply/cold-cathode-fluorescent-lamp INVERTER power supply printed circuit board. Do some reading in my fixya profile and those of other CCFL back-lit lcd monitor tech's and you may just find a solution. All CCFL back-lit lcd monitors of the same basic design and functional operation. 12fixlouie

If you want to change the name from Administrator to something else, simply click Start - Control Panel - User Accounts and click on the accout you want to change. There you can change the name and photo that appears for your settings. If you want to add another account click on Guest Account. Hope this helps. You can also add a password.

Unfortunately, the unit is not going into "Sleep mode".
The PROTECTION error actually means that the unit is overheating.
The unit shuts itself off to avoid further damage.
Try to make sure that no other device is below the unit. Also make sure the unit has adequate ventilation on the back of it.
If not, call 1-800-7267864 and let them set up a repair order for the unit.

To sign in a game with Guest support hit the guide button on the second controller select choose profile and scroll down, if u see "Guest" as a profile and you did not create it, then that game has guest support, and you can both play.
