My kia spectra 2002 automatic gear having problem in shifting 2nd to 3rd gear shifting problem. Where the rpm will increase and the engine noise become louder. I let go the gas it shift into gear. Plz help, already done full fulushing but no help.
Sorry my friend but your transmission is making it's last gasp and it's will be painfully expensive for a rebuild but you might consider a low mile used transmission only if the used price is less than half of an exchange unit or rebuilding the one you have, and consider warantee on each .Thats one of the catches with low priced import cars is the parts cost are very high. Could be the transmission shift solenoids.
I've replaced dozens and so far, that was the problem every time.

Sounds like you need a new shifter assembly, or the brake switch. Most likely will be the shifter though if you can move it out of park with the override.

check engine light comes of when the computer gets a sensor reading out of range. This could be an oxygen sensor(most likely) which will reduce performance of the engineand cause jerking. Most auto parts stores-autozone,advanced auto or O'rieley-will scan computer and tell you which sensor triggered check engine light. good luck
