The problem is often not with the amount of storage you have, but rather the amount of MEMORY (RAM) that you have. Most phone manufacturers aren't putting enough RAM in their phones to really support users. They jam the RAM full of their useless apps that you can;t unload, and then you try to download more than one or two additional apps and find out that you cannot. Many app writers do not make their apps SD card friendly since many users don't have them. Thus, everyone is trying to cram into as little as 384 MB of space. You may be able to get more available memory by going into the app management area and deleting caches and data files that are not needed for the apps to run.
Have you tried app2sd?It gives you better options to move any downloaded apps to your sd card.Once i downloaded it (free on android market) i was able to free up near 50 mb on my phone.
The games or the apps you download will be added to games automatically, onething you can do is move the pre download games and apps to the memory card, i mean you should move the games and apps to the memory card before making new downloads...rate my answer
Just a thought, try deleting other programs, pictures, etc. to free up some extra space, then try to delete them again. It could simply be there's not enough room in memory at the moment. And if it's an option, I would use uninstall instead of delete. Good luck.
Download issues on the consoles are often problematic when memory on the drive gets close to full. Delete some level of demos or free to replace download and try again. Often this will free enough EXTRA space to let the machine work around the download. This is a step 1 fix and not the last hope.
