SOURCE: YAHOO! News Videos will not play.

Hi sounds like an activex issue with IE. I bet if you download firefox the videos will work. In IE enable your status bar if its not already, then try loading a yahoo video..not check the bottom left of the status bar to see if theres any errors on the page. Double click the error icon and tell me what it says.

If you update the phone, the flash player should update and play the YouTube videos. Check this out.

Why do songs cut off when played on my I-pod before they're finished?

If the audio file is not an I-tunes sourced and is an MP3 rip it is in a format that Apple doesn’t like and it treats the file differently.
If this audio is from iTunes or from a CD download and not from a torrent or news group then your play list maybe corrupt.
Try deleting one of the songs that does this and reload it to your list and see if it plays all the way.
If that fixes your issue rebuild your play list, if your audio files are less then legal you may have to just live with the issue.

Cannot play youtube and always connection failed

Hello,

Checking videos on youtube is easier when you have a bettter 2G or atleast a 3G network. As it requires streaming of the video on your mobile.
Samsung Star GT has a proper streamer for youtube and it will work if you try it in a place where the service provider connectivity is full.

Try it and let me know your experience.

Happy surfing!

How do I create a sequence of videos to play one after the other on youtube or if that is not possible when part 1 finishes show part 2,3,4 in related video section. Regards John Bosich

Hi,

What you require is perhaps possible using Playlists. Here is how you'd create a Youtube Playlist after you Log In to YouTube (This is from the YouTube help page - http://www.google.com/support/youtube/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=57792):
  1. On your Video #1, Click the arrow next to the + Add to button under the video you're watching.
  2. From the drop down menu, choose New playlist..
  3. You'll be taken to a page where you can set the properties for your Playlist.
  4. Type in the name of your New Playlist and hit Enter on your keyboard. You'll see a message saying, Saved to your playlist.
Once the playlist is created, do these for all the videos that you'd like to play in sequence:
  1. Click the arrow next to the + Add to button under the next video you'd want to watch.
  2. From the drop down menu, select the playlist you want to add your video to.
  3. Repeat Steps 1 & 2 for as many videos as you like.
Then in the Playlist, you can choose to play the videos sequentially.

Hope this helps.

Long time buffering videos; video streams freeze

If a streaming video takes a long time buffering from Youtube or another website, it's because your internet connection is slow. If your video freezes up and jitters, that might be your internet connection and/or the video card is working too hard.

Go to this website and run the speed test for the city closest to you and let us know what your connection speeds are (download/upload). This will help us determine if the problem is the internet connection speed or something else:

Unable to pick up local ''free'' channels following digital change over. Using RCA DTA800 converter and Phillips 2750/27 antenna. Can pick up only one local channel, but signal loss is more often the...

first of all, make sure all your connections are secure and threaded all the way in. Next, go to the main menu and press 5 (configuration) and press 1 (search for channels) if this doesn't work, press 4(signal strength meter) and see how strong your signal is. You may just need to re-position your antennae. If all else fails try system reset(number 5) and repeat search for channels. I've had similiar experiences with mine but I have a 62% signal strength and still get 20-something channels. Hope this helps.

the video converter only lets you convert one format which is ".WMV"( I think),and it tries to make your life very difficult so here is quick solution. the only way to convert your videos is to work around the problem.

PAY ATTENTION and remember this steps

1st. go to this youtube video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nado0jumx...

, it will give you a website that converts media.: http://www.mediaconverter.org/

2nd. once you get to that website choose if you want to convert a video from your computer or directly from youtube. then press next.
3rd. when it asks you:Choose the file type to convert to:
pick the format that says WMV.
then click next, skip with no changes and press next again, and it will converted it for you, now just wait a little and wait until it tells you you can downloaded.

4th. once you save the file "in" your computer open the converter that came with the mp3, press add; then look for the file that was converted(note:if the video you converted was originally from your computer, there will be two files, the original, and the one you converted, make sure you pick the one that is converted) it will probably be installed in your desktop so look for documents and settings, then click on owner, and then click desktop, finally click on the video.

5th.(your almot done)once the video apears in the chart press on the right hand side were it says play, if it plays that means you can convert it now,(if it doesn't you did something wrong), press were it says convert. wait a few minutes

6th. once its done, make sure you go to the target folder, thats were the newly converted video will be at, once you go that folder connect the player,a new window will appear. then go back were it shows the converted video(you can tell its converted because it will have a weird icon, windows wont be able to play it, and it will have an ".SMV" at the end of the name.) right click and copy or cut, then go to the new window you opened by connecting the player opal and just right click anywere and choose the option that says paste.

AND FINALLY: unplug the player, turn it on, go to your videos and it should be there
