I have a deep fryer. When I am doing french fries the oil foams up in the basket. I have to hold the basket handle while I am frying otherwise the oil will overflow out of the basket. Is there something...
check your hot oil level, it may be above the mark. also follow the maximum recommended batch loading. overloading fryers will result in oil spillage (overflow from tank) during cooking cycle.

Delonghi fryer
I broke the plastic mount that holds the controls against the outside of the frame. That plastic mount was depressing a switch that is no longer being depressed. I get an Error message too. I'm going to try to contact the manufacturer to see if I can get a replacement part. (I doubt I can because the model is discontinued).

FIRST OF ALL YOU COULD CHECK THE FUSE IN THE PLUG IF THIS IS OK THEN CHECK THE THERMOSTAT SWITCH TURN IT BACK AND FORTH AND MAKE SURE YOU CAN HEAR A CLICK IF NOT REPLACE THE SWITCH
