We live in New England. Since December, we have had the Vizio and the accompanying TV kitty-cornered so that the little one will not knock over the "precious" TV - they are by a window. The past few weeks or so (It is now February 3rd) the Vizio will not connect to Comcast for Pandora and sometimes takes forever to upload movies for Netflix. Can this be because the box is near a window?
I don't think so.
The best thing is to contact your network provider; they have the answer for you.
