On the back of the tv and the cable box should be red, white and yellow rca jack, the white and yellow are sound

You can get the owners manual for almost anything on the internet, you just need to search it in google. Here is a link to a website you can use to download and view the user manual for your tv.

press f8 on startup. this will bring you into a black screen with white writing.

go down to "open in safe mode" press enter.

If this works shutdown the computer normally and it should start itself up fine

user screen cable is mis placed. its not much big problem.. open the screen urself and adjust it ( is like plug-in)

The white screen is most often caused by a defective "flex cable" (Connects the keypad section to the display section). When this happened to my girlfriends VX 8500 I found a new cable on eBay for $10 (came with screwdriver and opening tool) and replaced the cable and the issue was resolved. Hope this helps
