I've recently bought a car with this Kenwood head unit in it, I'd say by the dodgy in the door it was a very bad home job but it's been working alright but now the screen comes up with "Protect" on it. I turned it off and took the face plate off then tried again to no avail. I even disconnected the battery and still it wouldn't reset. What can I do?
HAVE YOU PRESSED THE RESET BUTTON ON IT ALL KENWOOD RADIOS HAVE ONE
I have the KDC-MP235 and it stopped working and started flashing the word protect, what should i do to fix it?
You have a défeau baffe , on fuse touche the chasis of the vehicule, préss reset buton
U have to press the little reset button on the lower right of the face plate. it does this when a speaker wire shorts out to ground so check all ur connections and make sure there are no bare wires touching the vehicle body
