Just found 2002 Liberty problem with lights and back tailgate door latch and interior lights and radio. Had them working off and on and then blowing Fuse # 34 off and on. Thought maybe BCM control module stuff. Turned out to be Drivers side Visor wiring crimped through and shorted out at the were it is attached to the ceiling.
Totally cut through. If you remove visor screws chech the wiring there. So far everything is up and running.

Any time the battery goes dead or is taken out ,when you put it back in ,or recharge it you must do this .rotate the key in the door 3 times ,then do the same in the ignition switch ,car should start.

If the battery has gone dead, it could cause the security system to go into full lock-up mode. If it has locked up the accessories will work after the battery is charged back up , but the power to the starter will be cut off and it wont turn over. You need to do the 30 minute learn procedure. A GM dealer will print it out for you and you can do it yourself. It's very simple if you follow the procedure exact. hope this helps and good luck.
