1999 Hyundai Lantra runs and then wont start

Car starts fine in the morning and then when it warms up and turn if off it wont start until it cools down. There is no spark. It can be rolled and clutch started and seems to run fine again until it is turned off. Have changed the fuel filter and the coil pack but still having the same problem.

Either a weak battery or a defective starter. Have you checked your battery voltage when it will not crank? Cleaned your battery terminals?

I can't start the engine when is warm, I have a Hyundai Lantra 1,6 1998

Iam sure you have a sensor problem here and it could the autochoke is flooding the engine as its not getting the right reading via the computer so check and change the temperature sensors before you start spending money on exotic causes like the computer

I have a 1999 dodge durango that will start first thing in the morning when its cold but once it warms up and you turn the ignition off it will not start again till it cools down.

Have you checked your coolant level? Does the temperature gauge run in the red zone? IF the coolant is low refill with 50/50 mixture when engine is cool. Check for leaks on radiator and hoses running to and from the radiator . If the fluid is fine, watch the temperature guage. If it goes in to the red the thermostat/sensor may be bad and thinks it is over heating and will not let you start the car until it thinks its cool enough to do so. It will also do this when coolant is low.

Hyundai lantra 16 si w reg went out it was ok parked up last night went out in morning wont start now

First you have to determine if its fuel or fire. To check for fuel spray a few seconds of quick start into the air intake. If it starts and then stops. its likely a problem with fuel. If it doesn't start its likely spark or battery problems. Does it turn over?

Once car warms up it begins to miss, as soon as i take my foot off the gas it dies and will not start it turns over but wont fire. now once the car cools down it starts and runs fine until it warms up...

sounds like a typical ignition coil break down. when they go bad they act up when they get hot. very easy to replace. it is what the plug wires come from.
