Cant playback videos i recorded with my phone on my phone

I try to play a video i recorded with my blackberry storm but it doesnt play. it says that the media is of an unsopported format

Hey! I am not sure what player you are using. If you are using widows media player, you should turn your videos into WMV format which is for playback on it. Therefore, you need get the right video format for your player. You can use some video converter software to convert your video into the right format. How can I play youtube in my blackberry 8900?
Hi all,

This is because of the BlackBerry Browser as it doesnt support the Video Codecs (protocol).

If you would like to view video content from Youtube, you may have to download other Browser(s).

Another option is "Opera Mini". Which can be downloaded from this address:
http://mini.opera.com

on your blackberry browser: Press "goto" and then goto this address.
http://mini.opera.com

Select download and install the mini opera 4.2 application.

once up and running, you should be able to play video content on your blackberry.

(for the people who require to view the content on WIFI, they should go to the preferences of the opera mini browser and select the wifi checkbox).

Video recording/playback for blackberry curve 8310
The blackberry curve can record video and view youtube pages as long as you have the latest device software for you phone all you have to do is download Blackberry Desktop Manager to your PC and download the correct Device software and you can update it yourself to enable the video recording capabilities and view youtube and various other video sites.

BLACKBERRY CURVE 8310 video help!!!!
While the 8310 BB do not come standard with the OS to let you create your own videos you can dwonload OS 4.5 to your CPU and then download the new OS to your phone. I did this two days ago and it works really well...I can now look at youtube.com as well...very cool.
