How do I turn the receiver off on my Panasonic sa-bt330 so that I can use it with a separate receiver.

This is essentially a protection mode indication. Either the output amp pac is defective or the regulator circuit is bad. Either option could be over $75 in parts plus labor at a local shop.

the difference is the "same speaker connections"
the front and rear will connect the same but the subwoofer is amplified by the HT75 , and the HE75 does not have an internal amp for the subwoofer speaker , only a "pre output"(has to be amplified)
