SOURCE: I have a Blanco BFDWC65.

Hi

Check the water inlet water. Add water straight into the chamber manually as required, from the front. Close the door and run the machine. If air is trapped it will get cleared! Also check the free flow of water in the inlet rubber hose. Check the solenoid valve water inlet for functioning. If the solenoid valve is not opening, then the water flow problem can be occured. Also the float switch is a small electrical switch that's located right below the dishwasher "floor." Above the switch, on the inside of the dishwasher, is a plastic cylinder that floats up as water fills the dishwasher. If this switch is defective, or if the plastic float gets caught or trapped in the raised position, the water can't enter the dishwasher. If the float switch is defective, you need to replace it.

How do i install a motor on a blanco dishwasher bfdwc65

Hi.

The parts' arrangement is similar to several Whirlpool model. The pump motor is located under the bottom place and it is accessed removing the front kick panel (in front at the bottom).

Here a movie showing the procedure on a Whirlpool similar to your Blanco. I also tried to describe the procedure below. Check also the parts diagram for your model at the end of this comment. Sometimes it is not necessary to lean the appliance on one side, depending on how you can reach pump motor and hoses. See movie and description.

To remove the old motor you need to:

  1. Disconnect power.
  2. Move appliance forward.
  3. Disconnect drain and inlet hoses and remove water from tub (if any).
  4. Remove baskets or anything else from inside the machine.
  5. Remove spray arms and remove the assembly at the bottom of the machine.
  6. Put some clothes or towels on floor and lean the machine on one side.Water will leak out, the clothes will help here.
  7. Take the kick panel in front off.
  8. Undo the screws that hold the pump to the machine cabinet.
  9. Use a flat screwdriver to loose the clip holding the hoses. Loose the clip but do not open it completely (it will help later).
  10. Pull off the two hoses.
  11. Disconnect the electrical connector to the pump
  12. Lift the pump motor and pull it out from cabinet.

To put in new pump.

  1. Insert the two hoses on new pump.
  2. Set the clips.
  3. Put the pump motor in place inside the cabinet.
  4. Arrange hose and pump motor correctly and put screws back.
  5. Reconnect the wiring connector.
  6. Lift up the appliance.
  7. Put back spray arms and internal assembly.

Before putting on the front panel:

  1. Connect power and test for leaks.
  2. Disconnect power and fix any leak present (adjust hoses).
  3. If there is no leak put panel back.
  4. Set back the appliance and connect power.
Always observe strictly health and safety prescription. Disconnect power before performing any maintenance. Beware of panel's sharp edges, particularly when removing kick panel and accessing parts in the tight space under the bottom of the tub.

Here diagrams showing all parts:Exploded view.

Regards.

Blanco Eye Kitchen tap cold water is leaking from tap[ WHEN TURNED OFF. I have remove the allen screw that secures the the cold lever but I cannot remove the leaver

Hello doy.. get a can of WD-40 penetrating lubricant and spray it on the seam connecting the lever and the body. It will penetrate within an hour or so. Repeat if necessary.

Also use a plastic head or a rubber head hammer to tap it up.

I have a single handle blanco classic that is leaking around the base I have removed the handle and cartridge but cant figure out how to remove the sprayer to replace the seal

You need to turn the water off under the sink. Disconnect the sprayer hose from the threaded shank under the center of the faucet body. Pull the spray head out of the faucet. Contact Blanco to receive your faucet parts free.

Blanco purus II poor water pressure

If the pressure is the same for both hot and cold. Then most of the time it could be just a blocked Screen/Aerator. Unscrew it and see if the pressure has improved. If so the replace it! Lowe's or Home Depot have them.
