The Eee pc 701 has only 4g hdd and in order to extend the hdd memory it is advised to use an SD card of Min 16gb as windows 7 will take up 4gb, the comp is not recognising the sd card

If it is a 4GB micro SD card it won't work, a nokia 6300 doesn't accept HC (high Capacity) micro SD cards. Maximum you can use is a 2 GB micro SD card.

i have come to the conclusion the mgb card itself is corrupted
i put in my nokia 5800 and it says card corrupted
i format card all looks ok
remove from nokia
and put back in again
and card corrupted again,
also 8gb card from my nokia (not the same one)
works in the pixion ok
so im sending back the card
