11248evs Won't hammer unless it warms up(over twenty minutes)

Bosch Oil (part number 1615437511) comes in 50ml volume. This is the correct amount of lubricant for the Bosch 11248EVS Rotary Hammer.

If you are replacing the oil you might consider ordering the 1617000451 Service Pack. You can order the (part number 1615430019) Oil in 1000ml increments and it gives you more bang for your buck and lasts a while.

Dispensers are not made to stay on that long. (2 minutes) You may have burned out the dispenser coil but it should not be related to the display going blank unless of course the twenty minutes also burned out the low voltage and the relay that controls the water valves that is on the control board.

If the hammer function works once it warms up, then it's not broken - it's probably just plugged up with contaminants. You may need to disassemble to clean it out, although first I would get some Electrical parts spray , unplug unit,and soak down the inner workings while MANUALLY moving the shaft in and out, alternating spraying and moving. Let it finish dripping, then use a heat gun on low setting or a hair dryer on high setting to dry out the internals, then try again. Repeat procedure until hammer function works, then lubricate. You need to get the junk out before you lube, or it will make a bigger problem.

if you have a automatic choke get it checked and make sure its working properlly, it might be staying on wich means the bik will not start or run when it warm

I had the same problem. You need to manipulate either the speed or the torgue. In some cases both. Sometimes the drill/hammer feature gets stuck in between the two an this is the only way to fix it unless taking it apart but I wouldn't do that yourself. Best to take it back to the dealer or service shop

Ur main video backlight board is dead,must be replaced.

Unit is drawing two may amps for the breaker. Could be compressor sticking.

If you go to the Bosch website and look under service you will find that they have a section to get drawings. Type in the Model of your hammer, there will be and exploded view of the unit, this should help greatly in finding any small clips or snap rings ETC

The adaptor you need to convert your slpine to SDS-plus is Bosch part# HA1020. Hope this helps. Dave
