if you are using vac to suck water the ball is a safety device. you must shut vac down and wait you should hear ball drop, if the vac is not in upright position he ball will close shut vac down and wait

It would be a good idea since the points inside the switch are welded together and produce heat.

Best thing you can do is pull the other three off and throw em away or else glue them on the wheels being detachable means they get lost every time

Do you find that the wheels are jammed and won't rotate, thus causing the vac to go to theleft or right or just have to be dragged along forward?Try wd40 to see if it will allow the wheels to rotate freely.

Lock the vac in the upright position and then tilt the unit back off the front wheels, it should move easier. If the height adjust does not work, there may be a broken part, I would recommend service by a vac shop.

It has to be pushed all the way on to where the plastic is solid. It's usually quite hard.

Well, good news, you don't need a bag! The trash just settles to the bottom of the bucket and you just dump it out.

Old red and black Genie Shop Vac

A Wheel or disk has come off of the motor. I would like to get a copy of the user manual to see if I can determine where it came off of. This Genie Shop Vac was given to us from my father-in-law.
