some units cannot handle blue tooth. Check to make sure yours is blue tooth capable. If it is, check your settings both security and blue tooth to ensure there is no conflict. Also check the headset for compatability ratings. Sometimes that is why there is interference.

Hi, yes you can use plantronics 230 blue tooth for your blackberry phone.All you would need to do is to pair the device with your phone.that will do.

How to pair a phone to a blue tooth device?

Instructions

Pair Your Blackberry with a Blue-tooth Headset

Turn on Blue-tooth headset and Blackberry hand-held.

Enable the Blue-tooth radio by going to the options window and clicking on Blue-tooth. Click on Enable Blue-tooth in that window.

Add your Blue-tooth headset to your Blackberry by clicking on Add Device in the Blue-tooth window.

Find and select the name of your Blue-tooth headset from the list that appears. The Blackberry will search for all Blue-tooth devices within range, so other devices might show up on the list.

Click Activate Blue-tooth device if you receive a call and the Blue-tooth headset does not pick up automatically.

Use your Blue-tooth Headset with your Blackberry

Make sure the Blue-tooth radio on your Blackberry is turned on before you try to use your Blue-tooth headset.

Use the voice-dial feature to call contacts if your headset has that capability. Not all headsets support voice dialing, but more of the newer models do.

Press the on/off button on your headset to end a call or use the end button on the hand held.

Tips & Warnings

Pair your Blackberry with any Blue-tooth-enabled device using the same steps as those for connecting a Blue-tooth headset.

Remove your Blue-tooth headset from the list of paired devices on your Blackberry by selecting and clicking on Delete Device in the Bluetooth window.

Configure your Blackberry to connect to a paired Bluetooth headset without asking for authorization in the Bluetooth Device Properties window. That will allow your headset to automatically reconnect even if you take it out of range temporarily.

Only configure a Bluetooth headset to your Blackberry once. Once you configure the pairing between the two devices, the settings are saved and you do not have to repeat the processes each time you use it.

Turn off the Bluetooth radio on your Blackberry when not in use for security reasons.

Adjust volume on your headset or hand-held to a comfortable level. Excess volume from in-the-ear headsets can cause hearing damage.

My Bluetooth set is plugged in but will not show up to add

Try to put your headset in pairing mode first. Press and hold the K1 button for some 8 seconds, until the indicator led is rapidly flashing alternately in red and blue. Then, make your PC's bluetooth application search for new devices. Your headset should appear. Select it make it connect. If a pairing code (or PIN, or passkey) is requested, enter '0000' (four zeros). The pairing process should be done just once. After any 2 devices are paired, they should connect to each other just by being next to each other (provided their bluetooth radios are turned on, of course). Othewise, a simple press on the button should do.
By the way, if your headset's user guide happens to be missing, feel free to download it from this location.
Hope you are able to sort your problems out.
Regards, Carlos

I am trying to program my nokia 2600 phone to my motorla h700 blu

First of all, the Nokia 2600 is not a blue tooth phone.

If you should get a Nokia phone that supports blue tooth your best bet would be to make sure any previously paired devices are turned off.

Then make sure that blue tooth is enabled on your phone. For most Nokia models its as follows;

Menu > Settings > Connectivity > Bluetooth > Bluetooth On

Then attempt to put your device in pairing mode.

Return to;
... > Bluetooth > Search Audio Enhancements

If your phone supports Bluetooth the phone should and device should pair after you enter the pairing pin, usually 0000.

Johnny_Nh, to answer your question, different Models are equipped with blue tooth when they are manufactured. Also, there are different versions of bluetooth, 1.0 and 2.0. If you have an older phone supporting Bluetooth 1.0 you will not be able to use a bluetooth 2.0 headset.

Blue tooth

Most phones that support bluetooth have a "headset" or "hands-free" profile that the device must be in for the bluetooth headset to work. Can you confirm that your device is in this profile?
