The easy mount disposal has a ring the (sort of) screws onto the insinkerator sink drain - the thing that is labeled insinkerator when you look down into the sink.

If this is a new install on a new sink, I recommend the EZ mount model. If there is already the sink drain (thing mentioned above) labeled insinkerator, you may be able to simply attach the new disposal to the existing drain ring.

Also: If you have a dishwasher to connect, this is a great time to install the "air gap valve" (available for almost free at any hardware store.)

I think the evo is an INSINKERATOR model their website http://www.insinkerator.com/en-us/Household-Products/Garbage-Disposers/Evolution/Pages/Default.aspx

In Sink Erator leaks half way down

1) Copy following link for troubleshoot and replacement tips.

2) Insinkerator usually has 5 year warranty.
If unit is leaking, then replace with new disposal.
Waste King disposals have longer warranty, but local hardware sells Insinkerator/Badger for less.

I have a double sink with the ACE 2000 garbage disposal on the right side. The disposal will not drain. The disposal drain runs straight to the down pipe for the left sink. That pipe goes straight into...

If it is grease you could boil a pan of water and pour down the disposer but you would only move the grease further down the line to cool and possibly cause a bigger problem. Disposers are far too easy to remove to take that chance. There is a bolt or screw located on the disposer where the horizontal line hooks to it. Simply remove that bolt or screw and then spin the attachment ring directly beneath the bottom of the sink and the disposer will come right out and you can look right into it to see what is causing the restriction. Be sure to unplug the disposer from the electrical outlet before you start. If there is water in the sink where the disposer is located, dip it out and pour it down the other side before you start too, it will reduce the mess you are going to make.

We can't figure out how to remove the hardware from the sink. We have looked at the instructions, but our unit does not have the three screw mount. thank you for your help

Is your mount the plastic ring kind? These are found on whirlaway, waste king, ge, and some others. If you haven't removed the disposer itself yet, just loosen the large nut holding it on. Lift up on this nut and remove the snap ring or whatever's holding it on. Then unscrew the large nut holding the mounting assembly to the sink.
