When you forgot Windows password, did you feel confused that why you cannot reset the forgotten Windows password via standard user or guest account? Within the three types of Windows user accounts, only the administrator account allows you to change another accounts' password. So if you want to reset Windows password of another accounts, you need to change your account type to administrator firstly. Moreover, if you need to give a user more access to perform tasks like installing software or other system changes, you also need to change your account type.

Steps to Change Windows User Account Type

1. Log on your Windows machine with an administrator account.

2. Click "Start" - "Control Panel" - "User Accounts and Family Safety" - "User Accounts".

3. Click "Manage another account".

4. Click on the user account that you would like to change its type.

5. On the following window, click "Change the account type" from on the left pane.

6. If you forgot Windows password of all administrator accounts, you'll need to reset Windows administrator password even you can access your computer with a standard user or guest account.

Software Windows Login Recovery allows you to create a password reset disk with blank CD/DVD or USB flash drive. With the disk you can reset Windows password to be empty in few minutes. With it, you'll never be worried when you forgot Windows password. All you need to do is just three steps.

1. Download and install Windows Login Recovery.

2. Burn a password reset disk with a blank CD/DVD or USB flash drive.

3. Reset Windows password to be empty.

Now you can log on to your computer without passwords. By the way, you can reset any account's password with this software.

Something about Windows User Accounts

Administrator: A administrator account is intended for someone who can make system wide changes to the computer, install software, and access all non-private files on the computer. When you log on to Windows with a standard user account, you can do anything that you can do with an administrator account. But if you want to install software or hardware, reset Windows password of another accounts, etc. the computer might ask you to provide a password of an administrator account.

Guest: A Guest account allows people to use your computer without having rights to access to any of your personal files. Iccan't access my Google orGmail account,I reset my phone and I got a new phone number, can you help me

First you need to use computer to double check if you can access your google or gmail account by logging in. If you can not log in to your google account or gmail account by using computer that means you enter wrong password. This can happen due to your google and gmail account has been hacked by another person who did logged using your password then after they logged in they changed the password and so on ...your profile info has been changed too.

If you can log in to your google or gmail using computer that means the problem is not your google gmail account issue the problem is your phone ( hardware problem) if you did reset your phone how do you reset it ? soft reset or hard reset ? Hard reset is reset and restore to manufacturing setting it would erase all of your personal data and restore your phone back to original setting. If you did this step but still having problem then i recommend you to borrow any smartphone ( from family member or your best friend ) use that phone try to access your google and gmail account. If you use difference phone and you can logged in and access your account then ...no need to say it is your phone having a problem ! Change to use a new sim card to see if problem fix if not ......then i think it about time you need to get another new phone.

Good Luck.

I cannot access my [email protected] account

Using public library computers without security precautions can be hazardous to your online identity. Particularly with online services, you should enable 2-factor authentication for your accounts, if available. Someone can easily place physical or software keyloggers to get your account information on these public computers. See About 2 Step Verification Accounts Help

For a compromised gmail account, go to Having trouble signing in and fill in the account recovery form.

Why cant i get back in my g mail been in 4 times in 20 minutes at libary their computer

No web-based program or application, such as Google's Gmail, is 100 percent safe and secure, no matter how many security and privacy precautions come built in and set as default.

Every Internet user is responsible for ensuring his own security online, and you can maximize your protection by practicing good common sense and using tools and settings on your computer and, as recommended by Google, within Gmail to maintain your privacy.
Privacy Settings

You can authorize or block certain websites from accessing your Google and Gmail accounts. Sign in to your Google account and click "My Account," and then click "Authorizing Applications & Sites" to see and edit the list of sites that have access to your information.
If you access your Gmail account from public computers, such as those at a library or school, or use public wireless networks, change your Gmail account settings to connect using only Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure, or HTTPS, connections.
Passwords

Aside from creating a unique, secret password that you use to sign in to both your Google and Gmail accounts, you can set your account recovery options to ensure that no one else can get your password emailed to him.

Sign in to your Google account and click "Recovering your password" to set your outside email address, cellphone number and secret question.

These will be used to contact you if you legitimately forget your password or will warn you if someone else is trying to gain access to your accounts.

Additionally, Google offers two-step verification as an optional layer of security.
Two-step verification requires you to log in using your username, password and a code that's sent via text message to your cellphone.

Check for Unauthorized Access If you suspect your Gmail account has been compromised, you can verify all your recent activity. Log in to your account and check the bottom of the screen for a Details section next to Last Account Activity.

This will show the time, date and Internet Protocol address of the last time your account was accessed.

If you don't recognize these details, change your password and then check your mail settings to ensure nothing has been changed.
Good Practices
Never share your password with anyone, and use a password that's difficult to guess.
Don't be fooled by official-looking emails that ask for your personal information, login name or passwords.

If you use a public computer, don't check "Stay Signed In," and always clear the cache and cookies once you've signed out of your account to prevent someone from being able to find your information. http://mail.google.com/support/bin/static.py?page=checklist.cs&tab=29488

Where did my gmail account go? I also set up a

Hi

Most often it is a font or upper case, lower case, or symbol issue,
either with your log-in name or password, or both.

When you said up the accounts, you should have recieved a confirmation notice in your email of account set-up.

When you get to the long in screen, copy and paste your log-in information directly from your confirmation/account information that they sent you.

Should this not work, if u submit to them your log-in user name ,they will provide your password.

Again copy and paste the information in, so it reads exactly how they have it showing.

Good luck.
