My touchscreen does not work on the right side. I did *1806*#900 and i did a touchscreen-control. So i see that the right colum (4-8-12-16 etc) is not working at all. All the rest is working. I did a factory-reset (after a backup)and it did not help. Is it the touchscreen-lcd or/and the touchscreen-digitizer? It is not possible to calbrate on this gsm. So please , can someone help me ......thks (it is a very good gsm and it is so sad not to search for repair.....it is easy to buy a new gsm but we do have already enough things that we throwing away...

9/10 times if you have no low beams it is the multi-fictional switch on your steering column

no fuse for left or right side multi switch or wiring harness may be faulty

first check you battery and terminals going to the battery, second check your main fuses. some are along side the dash when you open your door. the other big fuses you want are under the hood. theres is a black plastic box with a clip in the center usually drivers side. open the panel and notice large fuses. these fuses power the higher voltage accessories, AC, blower for heater computers, starter alternator etc. pull one at a time. hold it up to the light and look for a broken fillament if good replace and move on to the next. Also check on the bottom of your steering colum. Many times there are a clip bracket that holds all the wheel, signal, ignition controls etc. check to see if the plugs and wires coming down the steering colum are plugged in tight.

replace batteries , and clean contacts batteries very well.
However if toruchscreen not work, you must open the r.control and clean the keyspads very well from oxide,etc use contacts cleaner and fix it. Try again.
If the problem persist, you have a Syscom faulty.

I would check your brake light swich located under dash just fallow your brake pedle with a test light see if you have power going to it slitely press brake pedle see if other side of switch has power (key on car not running) if not try ajusting it by pulling on it or unscewing it if all checks out ok replace turn signal switch disconnect battery remove center part of steerring remove center bolt with steerring puller pull steering wheel with locking plate puller pull locking plate remove turn signal handle emergency button three scews holding turn signal under dash fallow steering colum disconect wires on right side (passenger side) tape a long wire to end of connector pull turn signal without pulling tape wire all the way out so you can tape it to new turn signal wire connector to be able to pull wires back down steerring colume (you might have to losen steerring colume and bracket two scews under dash four on steering colume)

sounds like the awitch is bad ....first check connection in the steering colume....where the switch plugs in ....the turn signal switches themselfs do go bad

Ford likes to hide them in a small black plastic box about half the size of a cigarrette box. it has a black cover on it and once you remove it you will find a blue relay. Thats what is probably bad. Try looking on the right side of the steering column but up in the dash

The program is usually Synaptics, look for it in the control panel under your mouse settings. When you are in mouse settings, click hardware and when you see your touchpad device, click properties. go through the setting there and make sure that scrolling is enabled by checking the boxes and there is a box that needs to checked to make sure the icon is in your task bar when windows starts. If these settings cannot be turned on, then go to start button, run, type msconfig in the text box. when the window appears, click on selective start up and go to the startup tab at the top of the window. Look for a listing that is for Synaptics or whatever the touchpad maker is and make sure that is checked to run at startup. To see the listings for all devices on the computer, go to control panel, click on system, click on hardware, click device manager, then click on the plus signs to open all the devices under each header and that gives you the manufacture, driver info, etc. double clicking on any of the devices gives all the properties info as well as enabling devices, uninstalling them if there is a problem, etc.

do u have a sterring colum mounted shifter if so the sterrin colum shifting mechinisoms might be out of wack.

check to make sure the ribbon is in all the way. there are 4 prongs on the clamp for the touch screen, the one to the right no. 4 this controls the upper right side of the touch screen. ribbon must be in straight
