Has anyone had to replace their turbos on a 1998 Audi A4? I am trying to get an idea of cost on this. Thanks!
My guess on two turbos would be $6000. Is there a local place that rebuilds turbos?

Trying to get an estimate on cost from someone who has had to replace their turbo (one turbo) on a 1998 Audi A4. It would be most helpful to understand labor and part costs. Just want to see how my estimate compares.

My turbo is running when my car is first turned on and the engine is idling, which I know its not supposed to do. I don't think it'd be 6K to fix though cause you could swap a whole engine for that. I'm gonna say 1500 thats how much I'll be saving to fix mine
