SOURCE: Cannot log out of Facebook

The solution I found is simple...
1) Go to the "Tools" option in InternetExplorer
2) Then go to "Internet Options"
3) Select the "Delete" option in the browsing history section.
4) Menu will appear, simply UNTICK THE FIRST BOX! which states "Preseve favourites website data".
This will remove the facebook cookie and stuff so when you log out of hotmail you will not see that message about not being able to log out of facebook anymore =]

1. Open your web browser.

2. Goto Tools >> Internet Options.

3. Delete all Cookies, Temporary Files and History.

4. Apply the settings and restart the browser.

Log out of your sister's account by clicking the down-pointing triangle in the upper-right then clicking "Log Out." You can then sign in on your account.

Just login under her username then log out,at that point you should be able to re-login with your account information.

How do I log out of the facebook app on the Samsung Vitality phone?

Select menu > settings > Accounts & sync > select f/b > auto sync and un check it. Under manage accounts select f/b and remove account. Then select f/b from main page and log in setting up your account again. Keep auto sync unchecked in accounts and sync settings so you have to manually log in each time.

My sister used my computer; signed into her optonline account and then went onto her facebook profile. facebook was my home page and my sisters facebook account is popping up like instead of mine!

Just log out of facebook and log back into your account, and you should be good to go.

Hi,

You will have to first log-out of your sister's Facebook account and then sign-in to your account using your user name and password.

To log out of the Facebook account, click on the "Account" link on the top-right corner of the page and then select "Logout" from the drop-down menu. (see attached image.)

On my facebook account, I cannot view my own profile. I can, however, view everyone elses. Everyone else, on the same token, cannot view my profile, either. What do you suggest?

First, check your privacy settings and ensure they're set right for your profile/wall. If they are, try the facebook help center and try to find out if others are experiencing the same problem (click on account, then on help)

If that fails, you can file a bug report at http://apps.facebook.com/help/contact.php?show_form=pages_bug

Be aware that they get a massive amount of reports and can not respond to them all but should take an issue like this seriously.

easy one :
m not gonna explain why :P cuz aint gonna get it
ill tell ya the solution though, log urself out... go to tolls>>>internet options>>> delete cookies, delete temporary internet files and clear history. Now, from there, go to content tab>>>auto complete>>> clear passwords and clear forms.....

go and log onto ur fb now , it SHOULD work now :)

(if u still wana know the reason :P , the problem was on every access of ur server's data ur cookies of i.e were sending the same state of ur fb account again n again to ur host server. if this helps lol)
