I have an electric Amana Big Oven and was told the hinges door hinges need to be repaired as the oven door will not close flush to the oven. The hinges appear to work fine to me as the issue appears to be at the latch. The latch does not latch on to the the door. Of course my home warranty does not cover the oven door hinges. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Use a fulcrum in both hinges (dowel across the oven) to gently bend the thing back in to shape. not a lasting solution, but should be god for a few years.

On the inside of the door, there are screws on both sides a few inches above where the hinges are. These screws if loosened, will remove the entire door. Maybe the screws are just loose or need some adjustment. CAUTION! Make sure you have help because if you break the glass on the outside of the door, you will not be able to replace it because this model has been discontinued.
I have the manual for this oven so if you need further help, just respond to this and hopefully I will get an email.

have and Amana oven/stove model ACF4225AC that is 8 yrs old. Middle glass (thick tempered) part # 32028101 completely shattered. Oven was not on for at least a week, noone was near it,was not hit,and at 9 AM while I was in other room it just shattered into a million pieces. Went to dealer- looked up part and found it was no longer available. I have been checking internet appliance part companies, and e-bay to no avail. Cannot find replacement glass. Any suggestions?
