Well cause it hot inside that's why..sometimes computer manufacturers don't use the most efficient or the most quiet power supplie needed only use the minimum wattage so it may be straining to keep it cool or it just loud. They do sell quiet models you can hardly hear running of course they are a little more expensive.....just make sure all of your vents are blown out with some compressed air for good air flow..if it bothers you, just open the case and find the wattage on the power supply, probably 400W and upgrade it to a 500W and quiet fan type.Tthat will make it easier to push the power and less annoying..good luck if you have any questions let me know..heres a website on how to change power supplies:
