Hi !

I can help you with the manual!
http://www.flymo.co.uk/node789.aspx

Go to that site, in the window obove the "search" type HT450
Now you will see all avalible manuals for your hedge trimmer, and there are a couple of them. The manuals are in PDF so you can either download them or read them on your screen

Good luck¨

Has anyone got a Bosch PHS 46G hedge trimmer that keeps stopping.?

The most likely cause would be worn brushes on the motor. Rattling is not a good sign :>)

Accidently cut cable on GT450 hedge trimmer. I opened up trimmer, replaced cable and closed it up. Now it won't work. Do you have any troubleshooting tips for this??

Me too - I rewired the cable into the junction inside the unit and after reassembly it stopped working. I've narrowed it down to the internal switch(es). There's a black and a red alongside one another. When pressed together - no power. When only the red is pressed - power. But the orange, external handle press engages them both at the same time and I can't see how to avoid this after it's back together
Thanks, Matt

My Black&Deck 24" Hedge trimmer simply stop working. There is no action what so ever when I turn it on. Any suggestion? Do I need to locate and change the fuse? Thank you!

Check the black and white power wires to the motor. You will have to open the trimmer casing. I have 2, 18 inch B&D hedge trimmers and both of them stopped working due to wires coming loose at the motor. I re-soldered the wires to the motor and both trimmers work fine.

Trimmer safety problem

# Keep all people and animals away from the area you're working in # Hold the hedge trimmer correctly using both hands # Make sure the hedge trimmer's switched off and idle before attempting to remove any jammed cuttings # Wear protective clothing including heavy-duty footwear and safety goggles to protect your eyes from flying cuttings # Electric hedge trimmers: Don't use in wet weather. Keep the cable well away from where you are cutting and check that the socket outlet has working RCD protection # Read the manufacturer's instructions before use
