You will have to reset the motherboard. Bit tricky on a laptop as difficult to get to. Try and find the reset switch usually 2 pins that you have to short out and this resets the mother. Unfortunately you have to take the laptop apart. Take it apart bit by bit till you can access the motherboard. Even if you took the battery out and let the onboard battery drain out, you may still have the password, and my take months to drain the onboard battery.

Change the password.

1) Press [OLD PASSWORD] to enter the current password. 2) Press [NEW PASSWORD] to enter the new password.

You will be returned to the USER menu screen.

Setup user authentication
Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\User Accounts\Manage User Accounts. As long as there is one account with a password you will get prompted to choose from and require authentication.
