Im trying to copy music to my sd card but my phone keeps saying its busy can you please help and tell me what to do

How are you doing this? Are you trying to transfer files from a PC to your memory card? The G1 stores media to the memory card so it may already be there.

When i try to download music from my laptop to the cliq it says the sd card is busy

1.) make sure the sd card is mounted after you plug in the USB cable. (pull down top bar and click on the USB notifier...)

2.) Open a window on the laptop that has your music.

3.) Open a window on the laptop that shows your cliq's sd card.

4.) Drag and drop the music files to the folder you want on the sd card

5.) when you are done copying, drag down the top bar again, but this time choose "turn off"... and you are good to go

How do I get my l7 to play video clips and music from an sd card?

Please try copying the media files again to your sd card. If that doesn't solve the issue the problem coould be due to the bit rate of the media files you copied. Try reduvcing the bit rate using a software and copy the files again.

Puting music on a chocolate phone

I think you can either format the sd card using the phone, or simply put four folders on your sd card with your computer. The folders are named

my_music
my_picture
my_sound
my_video

you just put the mp3s in the my_music folder. You will have problems with some files if they are right protected.
