Can not get subwoofer z-340 to work with i3 laptop. Speakers work, but not subwoofer

nothing special on these speakers if it wont work its shot

The cost is too great to repair.

The only way to get the code I'd to ring the car manufacturer to which the radio belongs and quote the VIN number

This is normal operation.. The subwoofer will only play sounds below a set frequency...There may be a crossover setting in your menu that you can adjust the frequency cutoff to your liking.

set an old radio to am get remote as close to aerial as possible when a button is pressed beeps should be heared thru the radio speaker

try to check if your audio device installed in your laptop can support the channels of your external speakers whom you want to install and make it work in your laptop

Plug the satellites into the subwoofer, plug the mini jack into your computer, plug it into a wall out, and turn it on.

I just got one too. I guess I'll tear it apart and post the pinout. Also have a set of Altec Lansing satalites (ACS340) with the same connector (hmmmm, Z-340 -- ACS340... probably the same thing they just changed some pins)
