This is normal operation.. The subwoofer will only play sounds below a set frequency...There may be a crossover setting in your menu that you can adjust the frequency cutoff to your liking.

How do I connect a new dvd reader with a Panasonic SB-WA340 active subwoofer?

Of the Phillips is not a home theatre system them you can but you will have no volume co trol of the sub. If it is the alot of philips home theater in a box (htib) use special plugs...you would need to change the cable end of the sub to a compatible plug.

How to connect panasonic sb-dk-10 subwoofer speakers to another reciever

Yes... and no...sort of. The blue/gray wires can connect to a normal front channel (or rear) just like any other speaker would. However, the red/black (low frequency) need to connect to a dedicated LF connection. Most receivers don't have this output. What you could do is order a Low Pass filter and install it in line with any channel of the receiver you're not using. If the receiver has A/B speakers selectable then you should use the B output to this channel using the low pass filter (I'd order a 200Hz low pass filter .. PartsExpress has many lowpass filter options plus you can call them.

I have panasonic active subwoofer sb wa 330.i didnot get the manual.can u tell me where can i get instruction manual. manu [email protected]

It's not clear if you have the SC-HT800, too, but the manual for the '800 includes the SB WA330.

http://service.us.panasonic.com/OPERMANPDF/SCHT790V.PDF

Thes Theater in a Bx systems are highly proprietary as evidenced by the unique interconnections. Mix n match is DIScouraged if not actually dangerous to the components.

I have the SB-HW950 subwoofer and teh SC-PT950 speakers and I just purchased a Denon Receiver to replace my DVD/ receiver player. So now I have SC-PT950 speakers playing through the Denon but for some...

Yes, the old Panasonic SC-PT950 did drive the subwoofer by its own amp, such as it was.

It's never a good idea to adapt prescribed connectors to bare speaker wire or vice versa.

Speaker Level and Line Level signals are worlds apart and equipment damage may result. Your Denon (model unknown) probably requires a POWERED SUBWOOFER, to which it would provide Line Level LFE from its Pre Out.

Read the manual where it doesn't say to convert a speaker wire to RCA.

How to connect the speakers to the sb-wa342 panasonic subwoofer

I hope I understand you correctly.

As you can probably tell from the very different connector types on the subwoofer and the HTS, they don't match up. That speaker system and this electronics are not meant to be used together.

The SC-BT200 uses passive subwoofer while the SB-WA342 is an active (powered) subwoofer.
