To enter many application

Before you want to use handphone as modem, you need to know your service provider(ex maxis).
For maxis (example), it have many chosen for browse internet through pc using handphone as modem. First through hot ticket and second through normal prepaid. Actually i'm always using the normal prepaid. For this method, you need to change your sim card to broadband. dial *100# for menu. after it approve that your sim was change to broadband, then you need to chose amount for internet.(ex rm8 for one day). after all that was approve, then you can connect your handphone to pc or laptop. You can use Bluetooth or cable to connect. For me, i'm prepared using cable as long it have great speed.

Before that, you need to install pc suite for nokia to laptop/ pc that you use. If you don't know how to use pc suite, then use manual. after connect cable/btooth, you need confirmation from pc suite to get connected also.
then from that you can use user iterface that already in pc suite.

If you don't use pc suite, then you can use broadband dial up. Username and password will gived by your provider.
Create new connection using broadband and dial up. enter username and password, then you will connect to internet, For first using, it will need time around 1-2 minutes. thanks

i'm also using nokia 5300 xp msc. It will hang when you start or on the handphone. Sometimes it also will restart automatically.

nokia 5300 ,it need you to reduce mesagge(inbox, outbox )size that you use. I'm always save my mesagge to pc using pc suite . This because handphone memory is not to big. it around 5mb-3mb. When you have many message in inbox ,outbox or save folder, it will make your phone memory became low. other things all picture, video,song I save it in memory card.

if your handphone have white scrreen. Then you can save it. On phone without memory card. and wait until your phone is ready to use.before this, I also face this problem, and sometimes it does not have response and hang always. After I get that phone ready to use, I'm delete message and save to pc using pc suite. It need more time. But it more easy rather that you using phone to delete one by one that message that you dont want. Try it. good luck

BEFORE COMPLETING A RESET, BACK UP ANYTHING YOU HAVE STORED ON THE HANDSET, THIS INCLUDES CONTACTS.

1. Select MENU
2. Select SETTINGS
3. Select GENERAL
4. Select MASTER RESET
5. Select RESET ALL
6. Enter Code 0000
Note: This resetting will format your phone memory completely.

If you want to format your Memory card also then follow these steps

1. Select 'Menu' (press Navigation key).
2. Highlight 'Organizer' and 'Select'.
3. Highlight 'File manager' and 'Select'.
4. Press 'Options' (left softkey).
5. Highlight 'Memory status' and 'Select'.
6. Highlight 'Memory card' and press the Navigation key.
7. Press 'Options' (left softkey).
8. Highlight 'Format mem.card' and 'Select'.
9. You will now see the message: "Note: All content on memory card will be lost. Format anyway?".
10. Press 'Yes'.
11. Enter 'Phone lock code" (this is as default 0000) and press 'OK'.

Cell phone can connect with 3 method connection, USB,BlueThooth and IrDa, and for connect with PC you should have application Phone (Like Nokia Handphone with Application Nokia PC Suite)

you need to update your [hone. go to nokia center, they will do it for you.if you go to any handphone shop, they will charge you. i have the same problem like you.but my handphone sometimes cannot unlock. i need to remove the battery and start the phone. sometimes it worried me

Reset to factory defaults (*#7780#) : Restores settings but preserves user data (photos, 3rd party apps etc)

Reset (*#7370#) : This reformats completely the C: drive. All applications and files stored on this drive will be lost and clean default files will be rewritten.

Hard reset:

1. Switch off the phone.

2. Hold down the following three buttons: Green (the call answer button), * button, and '3' button.

3. While holding these buttons, hold the power button for a second to switch on the phone.

4. Release when the phone shows the nokia hands logo or shows other signs of life like the language selection screen.
Enter Default lock code is 12345.

Make sure you make a backup first before doing the hard reset. All your data in phone memory will be lost.

check whether your handphone has the facility of USB charging. If ur USB ports work , the device has to be charged, if it is not charging means that ur handphone has no option of USB charging.

hi, this probably just means that you have too many applications open at once. If you press the middle 'hard' button, then press the triangle arrow tab at the top of the screen you should be able to see everything you have open and close everything at once. then your video shoudl work.
