Many times often than not, your clunk connected to the fuel line in the tank has fallen off. Buy some new fuel line and replace the old one and it will be OK for a long time. Good Luck.....

I have an older model that has a weighted filter in the tank. The filter flops around and can 'fall' into the fuel no matter which way you tilt the trimmer/tank. You should have one in your tank. Feed in the new line and make the end come out the gas cap. Push the filter/weight into the end of the fuel line. Pull the extra fuel line out of the tank to match the original position. You should have cut the new line to approximately the proper or same length as the old fuel line with an angle cut so you could push it into the tank.
To change the head on the trimmer you will need to turn the trimmer upside down as if you were going to take the head off to restring it, spin the head and look for a slot in the side of the head when you see the slot, keep spinning until you see it line up with a hole in the metal piece the head attaches to. Stick a nail in the slot and hole and turn the head off the trimmer, if I remember correctly the head is backward thread.
Follow the steps backward for putting the brush blade head on the trimmer.
Look at the spool itself there is a direction arrow on the spool itself. If you can not see the direction arrow it is upside down. The arrow should be facing you when the trimmer head is facing the sky. The direction of the arrow is the direction of the cord winding. If the head rotates CW the cord is wound CW.
if you haven't already done so there should be 2 or 4 allen head screws on the housing squeezing pressure on the shaft you be able to loosen these screws and turn the shaft tube into the correct position and then retighten the allen head screws
The line must have been rolled in the wrong direction, I guess it is an ordinary "tap and go" solution. Maybe it is possible to install the line roll upside down? It could be a good idea to double-check.
