I am having the same problem. Replaced the fuse with fuse holder and 3A fuse but the new fuse blows immediately. What do the diodes look like? and how do you replace them?

3 amp but if that is blown theres 2 diodes near it the may be bad . i had the same problem

I have a Black & Decker air compressor. It is equipped with a 3A 250V fuse that keeps popping. Any idea where I could find a service manual or what part could be broken that needs to be changed?

the likely fault is a failed start/run capacitor
with this unit failed the field windings draw excessive current which pops the fuse

THE TWO "330 MICROFARAD CAPACITATOR @ 200 VOLT" MAY BE BAD. MINE WERE. REPLACED THEM AND ITS WORKING FINE.

Black and decker mini fridge model BNA17B just the light goes on fans quit working won't get cold

Hi csighence I have the similar problem. I soldered in a new fuse holder & ceramic 3amp fuse onto the board, however when I plugged it in the fuse simply popped, could this be caused by a bad resistor or capacitor, such as the two you replaced? Also I noticed that the connection where the power source meets the board burned a little bit, as if there is a short somewhere... I'm a noob when it comes to electronics but I'm trying to learn gradually, also can you tell me if your fuse holder is soldered in the same way as mine? I know it looks a bit tacky, & I may need to re-solder the connections, but I'm trying to pinpoint the problem. Any assistance is appreciated. Thanks!

The lower the setting the colder the fridge should be, the dial should be turned to the right. A refrigerator should be kept around 35-36 degrees F
