It depends on how complex the board is. I have repaired many a board in my 40 years and they all worked perfectly. Power supplies are not that difficult as the circuits generally are pretty straightforward and not real complex. The board should be put together and epoxy applied to the component side then when it is cured the foils could be reconstructed or patched over with 30 gauge telephone type wire- thicker if the foil indicated the need for more current.
