2004 F150 Quad cab Lariat (newer body style). Low beam headlights won't turn off. Unplugged fuses to stop them from running battery down. New battery. Hi-beams and parking lights working normally. I checked relay box in engine compartment and it looks like one in owners manual that is for "Without Daytime Running Lamp (DRL) option. Unplugged R201 and it did not stop the lights. Is there some other relay in the system? Could this be the headlight switch?

My opinion you probably got a bad dimmer switch.

SOURCE: 1997 Ford Explorer XLT: Both low beam headlights

Have you checked both low beam bulbs? I have seen both burn out close together.Does this have tilt steering wheel? If it does, remove the plastic steering column cover.Check the wiring to the dimmer/turn switch. The connector ends would pull out of the hard shell connector, when using the tilt feature. The wire harness was mounted too tight, and didn't allow for the angle in tilt.

SOURCE: 98 ford lariat. Headlights stopped

Is this both the high beams and low beams that do not work ?

If you checked all 3 fuses with a meter ( with the headlamp in Low position for both low beam fuses or in high for the high beam fuse ), the next items to test are the MFS ( MultiFunction Switch ) and the main headlamp switch ( test not look at it ).

SOURCE: 2005 Ford Focus ZX3 SES, the blue high beam

It sounds like you are confused about how your headlamp system is supposed to work. The DRL does not run on the High beam circuit, it runs on the low beam circuit. The fog lamps are supposed operate with the park lamps and also with the low beams, not the high beams. From your description, I would say that your system is operating as designed and you are having trouble telling High from Low. (Don't feel bad, that is why high beam indicators were invented in the first place.)

2004f150 truck the newer body style when headlights are off I have no brake lights

So you're saying with your headlights off when you hit the brake pedal your brake lights don't work but when your headlight are on they do work? If that's the case sounds like your rear running lights and brake lights have tied themselves together on the same circuit

I have a 2012 f-150 crew cab Lariat day time headlights work but after it turns dark both auto and manual setting the low beams don't work

If the high beams work then the bulbs low beam is burned out also check your fuses get your manual from ford fleet then go to roadside emergencies and your fuse box diagrams and fuse values are in there and the relays check all

I would take a SWAG that the blower motor resistor is shorted to power, causing the issue.

Trying to find fuse for reverse light to replace

For the new body style 2004, this is in the cab fuse panel, Fuse #14.

If you did not get an owners manual with your truck ( purchased used ), you can download one from Ford :
https://www.fleet.ford.com/maintenance/owners_manuals/default.asp

If this is a 2004 Heritage or Lightning model ( the old body style like the 99-03 MY ) the fuse is cab fuse panel, fuse # 5.

Ford f150 with auto transmission cannot be moved out of park

If this is a new body style 2004, check the shift interlock fuse, cab fuse panel F16.
If the fuse tests good with a meter to both sides ( to ground when pressed down power should be there ) check both the Tan w/ REd stripe wire and the pink w/ light green stripe wire , it would be a case of needing a new shift interlock solenoid.

If this is an old body style truck, check the stop lamp / brake light fuse. The shift interlock uses the same fuse for both.

If you replaced the tail lamps with LEDs in either 2004 version, and did not use load resistors, this could be the source of your problem ( truck thinks the brake lamps are out ). You would need to install load resistors on them.

I have no headlights on my 2004 f 150. Fuses are good but i do not have low or high beams. Bulbs appear to be good. I have running lights and fog lights

Based on what you have described it sounds like a bad headlight switch. Since the low and high beams generally use different fuses that can be ruled out. (although checking to be sure is a good idea) Usually both high and low beams go through the headlight switch that's where I would look first.
