Garmin nuvi 360 suction cup knob issue

I have a Garmin nuvi 360 and I can't figure out how to assemble the suction cup knob into the cradle. The knob seems like it's too big and if I push to hard it may break.

If the end of the cradle has a ball, and the cup has
a round part, just push the ball in, yes it does go in hard but should be ok. If it makes you feel more
comfortable, you can put a drop of water on ball and wipe it around, once it dries, it wont slop around.

I can't figure out how the two pieces of the window mount fit together. Do you have an illustration of how it assembles?

Hello,

The arm of the Garmin G-Ball Suction Mount snaps into the back of the cradle.
You can see a picture of it here.

I have two NUVI 660's and one 360 (?) navigation systems. They all work great except all three have the same problem with the suction cup. Aftera few months, they will not stay attached to the...

Hello rkfowler,

While the suction cup mounts included with most GPS units are very effective, they certainly can fail. It sounds like you are doing everything you can to make it work: cleaning both the windshield and the cup itself. You also might try putting a few drops of water onto the suction cup before affixing it.

If the suction cup mounts aren't working out for you, Garmin does have a couple of other options including a vehicle mount that uses a super strong adhesive or a friction style mount. These are available from Garmin directly on their website (www.Garmin.com) or through your local consumer electronics store, such as Best Buy.

Installing Garmin 350

It should be a round hole with three little notches, just stick it in and push (flat surface required!) Then there is a lever on the suction cup to **** it against the windo, just snap close that when you're sticking the hip joint into the socket!

How does teh suction cup ball fit into the garming 360

Greetings,
There is a seperate black clip that should have come with your gps if you purchased it new. Here is a link to Amazon to get a better idea of what I am talking about:
https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?pID=8125#
If you have the clip then there is a round indent in it that requires a good measure of force to attach to the suction cup mount.
Take Care,
-WN
