A Britax Eclipse SI can be used with only a lap belt, I do not know if this varies from 1 type of Britax SI and another but maybe this could be of use

How do you install the Jane Powertrak 360 Bassinet into the car...? I have all the fittings including the seat belt clips but how does it all get threaded through?

Hi,

I would suggest that you contact www.johnstonprams.co.uk for a little help as this is a bit difficult to explain in text. You will need to buckle up both back (outer) seat belts in the car, then take a length of webbing from the lapbelt, this then loops through the adapter that you have. Alternatively, take a look on YouTube for an instruction movie.

Hope this helps.

How to fit carry cot to car

I assume you are referring to the Matrix Pro Car Seat that lays flat? You can fit this in two different ways. To fit it sitting upright, make sure it is in the most upright position and facing the back of the car. Pass the lap belt underneath the car seat itself, through the blue catches, then plug it in. The long part of the seat belt goes around the back of the car seat through the blue catch nearest you. Pull it all really tight and it should be more secure. To fit the car seat laying flat, this depends on your car. It needs to use two 3 point seat belts. 2 point seat belts don't work. Plug in both seat belts, and pull the lap belt part through the silver catch on both side. Pull as tight as you can. To make car seat fitting more secure, try placing a slip mat like the Sunshine Kids Grip It or Super Mat underneath to hold it in place. These are all crash tested and safe.

Cant fit nania first car seat

We just fitted our 'new' secondhand narnia yesterday with instructions and it was a bit of a fiddle, but once in was very secure. Place the lap/diagonal belt through the slot in the back so that it comes out the front, it then goes over the arm rest, back through the other slot, across the back of the seat, then through the slots in the other side over the arm rest again and click it in.

Need a car seat manual

Types of car safety seats at a glance
The chart below is a quick guide on where to start your search. However, it’s important to read more about the features and how to use your car safety seat.
Age Type of Seat General Guideline Infants Infant seats and rear-facing convertible seats All infants should always ride rear-facing until they are at least 1 year of age and weigh at least 20 pounds. Toddlers/Preschoolers Convertible seats It is best to ride rear-facing as long as possible. Children 1 year of age and at least 20 pounds can ride forward-facing. School-aged children Booster seats Booster seats are for older children who have outgrown their forward-facing car safety seats. Children should stay in a booster seat until adult belts fit correctly (usually when a child reaches about 4' 9" in height and is between 8 and 12 years of age). Older children Seat belts Children who have outgrown their booster seats should ride in a lap and shoulder belt in the back seat until 13 years of age.

Need a new Turbo for my 2000 Jetta TDI

hi turbos are not the easiest thing to change on any car firstly you can get recondtioned ones for half the price of the dealers one and it has the same warrenty but they are all funny about getting someone who knows what there doing to fit them as the problem with turbos is the heat they generate and need a good oil supply to them so they usually insist on replacing the oil pipes and changing the oil and filter and clearing all the inlet pipes of blockages and flushing the its oil cooler as for the catalystic converter the problem your fiance is going to have is that this is another item that gets that hot when you come to remove them the bolts and sensors are weled together and are very difficult to remove it all depends on how good at taking things apart and putting them back together he is best of luck yates210456
