MY KENMORE DRYER WON'T DRY MY CLOTHES

MY KENMORE DRYER (MOD: 110.62212101 S/N: MM2656494 TYPE: D433-ELE-2406028-FM54) WILL NOT DRY MY CLOTHES. IT STARTED OFF JUST TAKING A LITTLE LONGER TO DRY THAN NORMAL AND IT QUICKLY GREW WORSE AND WORSE UNTIL EVENTUALLY IT HAS JUST STOPPED DRYING COMPLETELY. DOES THIS MEAN THAT I HAVE A HEATING ELEMENT OUT OR SOMETHING? CAN I FIX THIS MYSELF AND IF SO THEN IS IT EXPENSIVE TO DO? THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR HELP.
RESPECTFULLY,
JAKE

I have this exact problem.  I have completely disassembled the dryer exhaust system and vent to the outside.  There are no blockages in the exhaust path.  When I watch the burner, I notice that it never stays on for more than a few minutes before it turns off.  I does eventually come back on but it never remains on for more than a few minutes.  Is it possible that the thermistor is going bad and giving incorrect temperature information to the control for the main burner gas valve controller???

Not necessarily MIKE major. I have the same problem. Vent is clear all the way to outside. I held the door switch and turned my dryer on. From the inside you can see the heating element come on....then after a few minutes it shuts off. This with the door open. So not a flow problem. The blower does have ( in both gas and electric ) an internal-bias operating thermostat that can malfunction and only allow the heating element to come on intermittently. I'm going to replace this part and see if it solves this problem.

My whirlpool dryer model ler3624jq1 type d433-ele-2406028-fm54 isnt drying my clothes completely

This caused by one of two possible things. Either you have poor air flow, or a clogged vent preventing air from flowing freely and therefor making the dryer short cycle, which in turn will take you two or three times to dry yor clothes, or the heating element has gone bad, burnt in half and is making contact with the case to provide it just enough power to barely heat. The second thing is a very rare occurance. I would turn the dryer on, find out where the air vents out to, and with the dryer running, go to where it vents and check to see if there is a strong flow of air. 9 times out of 10 that is going to be your problem. Another way to check air flow is to just pull the vent off the back and let the dryer run and see if your clothes dry faster. If you do it that way and they still take a long time to dry, then you'll probably need to replace the heating element

We have an estate by whirlpool dryer that quit working. During last cycle it made a loud bang noise that ended the dry cycle and the clothes inside were dry. When we tried to restart it, it wouldn't...

The fuse is tied into the door switch circuit and looks like this:

Unplug the dryer and remove the rear cover. All the heater components is back there.

I have a whirlpool Dryer type: D433-ELE-2406028-FM54, Model: LER463JQO. It takes atleast 2 cycles to dry the whole load completely, and I'm wondering what I can do to fix this problem?

You may have a clogged vent pipe. I would take it apart and clean it all out.If that doesn't help then you may have other problems.Could be thermostat or one bad element. Hope this helped.

Dryer will not start whirlpool model #LER4634EQ2 SERIAL #MK0296464 TYPE#D433-ELE-2406028-FM54

It might be the fuse.3727d80.jpg Be sure you do a bit of cleaning before you replace the fuse or it might just blow again.a611954.jpgca0922b.jpg Look for lint. I looked up your model. I once did a write up about what goes wrong, how to get into the machine, a training manual and videos. HERE

Remove the back panel from the control panel to access the start switch. If there are 4 wires on the start switch, replace the start switch.

It appears the heating element went out on our older Kenmore dryer - Type DWJR ELE 2406028 FM54. mod 110.62622101. Is this an easy fix?

Yes it is fairly easy to replace from the back. First verify it is the element and not the thermal fuse or a loss of one leg of the 240VAC circuit.

Dryer runs no heat

Sounds to me you either blew the fuse or tripped the circuit for the heating element. Try replacing the fuse or resetting the breaker before trying any repairs.
